Peter Bosz Leaves Door Open for Netherlands Coach Role

🇳🇱 19 May 2026

Peter Bosz said he has not fully closed the door on a possible appointment as head coach of the Dutch national team. He made the comments during his appearance on Studio Voetbal. The statement comes while he is still the manager of PSV Eindhoven.

Bosz explained that there are “agreements” in place with PSV, but those agreements do not relate to the national team. He stressed the distinction between his club commitments and any potential national team involvement.

He added that he does not want to rule out any option regarding the Oranje job. The coach said he will keep his options open and consider any future proposals.

By keeping the possibility alive, Bosz signals that he remains a candidate should the federation seek a new head coach. His remarks suggest that no final decision has been made.

The PSV manager’s comments arrive amid ongoing discussions about the future of the Dutch national side. Bosz’s openness adds another voice to the conversation.

Bosz will likely evaluate any approach before making a definitive statement, leaving the national team’s next coaching appointment uncertain for now.
