Liverpool Contact RB Leipzig Over Yan Diomande Transfer
Liverpool have opened direct talks with RB Leipzig about signing 19‑year‑old winger Yan Diomande.
Diomande arrived at Leipzig from Leganes last summer and recorded 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 total matches, helping the club secure a Champions League place for the coming season.
Paris Saint‑Germain and Manchester City have also shown interest, but Liverpool are described as the most advanced in negotiations.

Leipzig maintain they will not sell the Ivory Coast international unless an offer exceeding €130 million is presented; his contract runs to 2030 and contains no release clause. Diomande said his focus remains on football despite the rumours, and Liverpool’s pursuit follows Mohamed Salah’s departure, with the club seeking a fast, creative winger capable of playing on either flank.
