Lille OSC Ends Contract with Coach Bruno Genesio

Lille OSC confirmed on Monday the end of its two‑year contract with head coach Bruno Genesio. The club issued a statement announcing the termination of the collaboration.

The separation was anticipated for several weeks. Genesio’s agreement was set to expire after the 2023‑24 season.

Genesio completed two full seasons in charge of Lille OSC. During his tenure the side finished third in Ligue 1.

The third‑place finish secured Lille OSC a place in the Champions League. It marked the club’s qualification for Europe’s premier competition.

Lille now faces the task of appointing a successor before the next campaign. Genesio will depart as a free agent after the contract expiry.
