Fulham seal long‑term deal for Bayern’s 18‑year‑old striker

Fulham have announced the permanent signing of 18‑year‑old striker Jonah Kusi Asare from Bayern Munich, completing a deal for an undisclosed fee after a loan spell that saw him make seven Premier League appearances and score four goals in five Premier League 2 matches.

The club posted the announcement on its official X account, confirming the transfer without revealing the financial terms. The move follows a season‑long loan that gave the teenager first‑team exposure with the London side.

Kusi Asare arrived on loan from Bayern Munich earlier this campaign, gaining valuable experience in England’s top flight. His performances prompted Fulham to secure his services on a long‑term basis.

Speaking after completing the move, Jonah Kusi Asare said: “I’m very happy to be a permanent Fulham player. From my first week here, it was very good – I felt like I was a part of the Fulham family.” He added that the changing room, team and staff made him feel at home.

Vice Chairman and Director of Football Operations Tony Khan welcomed the signing, stating: “I’m thrilled to welcome Jonah Kusi‑Asare to Fulham on a long‑term contract. We believe that he is a very talented young player with massive potential and a bright future.” Khan’s comments underline the club’s confidence in the striker’s development.

Fulham have built a reputation for integrating promising youngsters into the senior squad, and the permanent deal reflects a long‑term planning approach. The club’s continued investment in youth aims to nurture talent like Kusi Asare for future success.
