PSG finalizing 18-year-old goalkeeper transfer
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are finalizing the transfer of 18-year-old goalkeeper Lucas Beraldo from São Paulo FC. The deal is at an advanced stage with a €5 million fee agreed.
Beraldo, a Brazil youth international, has impressed in São Paulo’s first team. PSG will complete the signing this summer.
The goalkeeper joins after PSG’s recent recruitment of midfielder Lucas Beraldo. The club’s goalkeeping department will undergo a significant overhaul.
PSG’s sporting director, Luís Campos, is leading the transfer. Campos previously worked at Monaco before joining PSG in 2023.
The move aligns with PSG’s strategy to develop young talent alongside established stars. Beraldo will compete with existing PSG goalkeepers for playing time.
