Nantes Mayor Calls for Immediate Suspension of Patrick Bruel Concert

🇫🇷 22 May 2026

On Wednesday 20 May, Johanna Rolland, mayor of Nantes, asked the organizers of Patrick Bruel's tour to suspend the upcoming concert at Zénith Nantes Métropole in Saint‑Herblain without delay. The appeal was directed at the event scheduled in Loire‑Atlantique.

Rolland's request aligns with similar appeals made by several other mayors in France and abroad. These municipal officials have collectively called for the tour's suspension.

The concert forms part of Patrick Bruel's ongoing tour, with a date set at the Zénith Nantes Métropole venue in Saint‑Herblain. The venue is located in the Loire‑Atlantique department.

The mayor publicly urged the organizers to halt the event immediately on 20 May. She emphasized that the suspension should occur without further postponement.

This call adds to a broader pattern of local authorities expressing opposition to the tour. The coordinated municipal pressure reflects growing concerns among officials.

At the time of writing, no response from the concert promoters or tour organizers has been reported. The situation remains under observation.
