Inter Milan and Liverpool differ by €10m on Curtis Jones

🇮🇹
Inter Milan and Liverpool are €10m apart on a Curtis Jones deal. Liverpool are reportedly asking €30m, while Inter's offers sit €10m below that. The midfielder is linked with a move after his contract runs to 2027. Liverpool's midfield struggled last season under Arne Slot, with Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch underperforming. Mac Allister and Wataru Endo have been mentioned as possible exits, while Adam Wharton and Alex Scott have also been linked with Liverpool midfield changes. Curtis Jones remains the most immediate uncertainty. Curtis Jones was a target for Tottenham and Inter Milan in the winter window, but no agreement was reached. Negotiations have resumed between Liverpool's Richard Hughes and Inter's Piero Ausilo. “There's still a significant gap between Inter's offer and the Reds' demand, which would need to be bridged by raising the Nerazzurri's investment by around ten million,” the report reads. Liverpool are said to hold out for about €30m, while Inter's bids are lower, leaving a €10m gap. A compromise at €25m would meet halfway. Jones, who has not secured a first‑team place under Andoni Iraola, could benefit from a move. If the deal proceeds, Inter Milan would acquire a two‑time Premier League winner who has yet to convince Arne Slot. The Italian club could provide Jones with a platform to showcase his creativity.
