Newcastle United splashes €24m for Ajax prodigy Sean Steur

Newcastle United have agreed to pay Ajax a fixed €24 million for 18‑year‑old midfielder Sean Steur, adding €3 million in achievable bonuses and a 12.5 % future resale clause, with the player signing a contract that runs to the summer of 2031 and moving to the Premier League.

Sean Steur, aged 18, is a midfielder currently with Ajax. The transfer will see him leave Ajax for the Premier League.

He has personally agreed to a contract that runs until the summer of 2031. The agreement was reached by the player himself before the clubs finalized the deal.
