Boston United have secured Ben Hammond on a two-year contract after his release from Nottingham Forest, where the 21-year-old spent 13 years progressing through the club’s junior and youth ranks. Hammond never featured for Forest’s first team during his tenure. He did, however, appear for the club’s Under-21 side in the English Football League Trophy. Those appearances provided him with limited senior-level exposure before his departure.
