Herbert Hainer's Santiago Bernabeu visit fuels Olise speculation

🇪🇸

Real Madrid will host Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday, where he will be a special guest at the Real Madrid Graduate School‑Universidad Europea graduation ceremony, a visit that intensifies speculation surrounding Bayern forward Michael Olise.

The two clubs have enjoyed a long‑standing relationship, despite occasional disagreements such as the Super League proposal, and the bond has not been seriously strained. The clubs have maintained good relations over the years.

This summer, the relationship faces a test as Real Madrid is linked with Bayern’s star forward Michael Olise. The Spanish side recently issued an official statement denying any contact with the Frenchman.

In that statement, Real Madrid also underscored that any approach to a Bayern player would be preceded by talks with the German club. The club emphasized its respect for Bayern’s position on player matters.

Herbert Hainer’s expected visit to the Santiago Bernabeu is set to generate considerable excitement among supporters. SPORT reported that he will attend the graduation ceremony of the Real Madrid Graduate School‑Universidad Europea on Tuesday.

Previous editions of the ceremony have honoured figures such as Gianni Infantino and Adriano Galliani, the former long‑time CEO of AC Milan. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The gathering will provide a natural platform for the presidents of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to meet and discuss club matters. Michael Olise has asked Bayern for a meeting to clarify his future, so his name may surface during talks.

Both clubs have publicly stated they are not involved in any transfer operation concerning Olise. Nevertheless, the fluid nature of football means a signing cannot be completely ruled out.

Any indication emerging from the Tuesday meeting will be closely monitored as the summer transfer window approaches.
