Pulisic: Balogun's suspension lift is a 'boost' ahead of Belgium clash
Christian Pulisic has hailed the suspension lift of Folarin Balogun as a significant advantage for the United States ahead of their clash with Belgium. The US star expressed his satisfaction with developments surrounding his teammate during a press conference on Tuesday evening.
Pulisic described the overturned ban as a ‘boost’ for his team’s prospects against the Red Devils. “Of course this gives us a boost. I mean, if you look at that incident, there was just… no intent behind it at all,” he said. “I felt like during this tournament there have been much worse offences committed.”
The US captain framed the decision as justice for both Balogun and the team. “Balo handled it so well, and I think the team handled it well too. We weren’t here to complain,” Pulisic added.

He stressed the importance of responding positively to such situations. “You just have to deal with it in the right way, and good things happen to good people. It feels good. When I see that smile on his face, he deserves to play in this game,” Pulisic concluded.Belgium crush USA 4-1: Red Devils march on to quarter-final clash with Spain
