Juventus-Torino delayed by supporter unrest at Turin stadium
Serie A match between Juventus and Torino set for Sunday 20:45 kickoff was postponed to 21:45 after supporter unrest outside Juventus Stadium. Torino’s home game against Lazio also started ten minutes late due to the same disturbance.
Hardline fan faction Gruppo Storico Fighters demanded immediate action from Juventus leadership and threatened stadium invasion if demands weren’t met. The group occupies the Curva Scirea sector, the traditional home end of Juventus ultras.
Juventus released a statement acknowledging the situation and confirming the delayed kickoff. Club officials entered negotiations with fan representatives to address the grievances.
Torino’s match against Lazio began at 20:50, ten minutes behind schedule, after police cleared access routes. Serie A officials confirmed no further postponements for other fixtures.
Gruppo Storico Fighters cited dissatisfaction with recent club policies and leadership decisions as reasons for the protest. The group has a history of vocal opposition to Juventus management.
Juventus faces Roma next on October 28. Torino hosts Atalanta on October 27. Kickoff times remain unchanged.
